- The Mattel Pictionary Air game box comes with the air pen and clue cards.
- Players download and install the free Pictionary Air app from Google Play for Android or App Store for iOS. This is where all the fun starts.
- The drawer uses the air pen to draw the clue into the air and another player points the in-app camera at them. The app tracks the pattern drawn, it appears onto the screen and other players guess what it is.
- The app screen can be cast to TV and make the experience more enjoyable. The teams take turns in drawing and guessing and collect points to win the game.
You can use your mobile phone or tab to play the game. Players can set up teams, choose colours, control scoring, set timers and number of rounds all from within the app. It also comes with a feature that gives you an option to record and replay the entire activity.
It surely guarantees more laughs and makes it all worth it. The gameplay is so much more fun with all the new additions and takes the entire experience a notch higher. You still get to enjoy your favourite game but the new twist makes it much more enjoyable.
If we were to put out a Pictionary Air game review, we would say that it is a great quirk to the classic game which makes it even more exciting If you are looking for learning toys for kids or Pictionary games for your kids, this is one of the best. What we loved the most was that you could interact with the sketch while they drew.
One of our friends drew the sun and enacted as if he was feeling hot under it. Now that’s some added fun and smiles right there. The kids had an amazing time and it also worked great to make them learn some teamwork. We did cast the phone app screen to the TV and it was much more hilarious to see the gameplay on the big screen. The big screen is a must for the bigger team sizes. The instructions in the app are well explained, easy to follow and it only takes a few minutes to get started.
Family games in general are a good idea if you want your little ones to learn while they play.
